Settling in.....

As has been pointed out to me... I have not posted in a while. I'm staying with a community of brother's right now where I don't have frequent internet access (at a friend's house now).

But putting up a quick post to say that yes I made it to NY. I've been working for 2 weeks now, 1 week with kids in the school. It's going well and I'm settling in and becoming more comfortable. At some point in the future I'll actually make a real post but for the time being, know that all is well and if you want to know more, the cell phone works!

AND, even better news... TODAY WAS MY FIRST PAY DAY!!!!

So now it's off for a small celebration.... then spending the weekend apartment hunting...with maybe a wee trip into Manhattan tomorrow night to see friends!
