ROADTRIP!!!!!

So I've officially lost my sanity... Somehow I agreed go to Florida with the judo kids... So we left late last Wednesday night and DROVE to Florida, spent two days there and drove back... It was a 15 passenger van, 5 judo kids, Ryan, Keith and I... I've now driven through nearly every state on the Eastern seaboard! And I only pulled the van over to yell at the kids once! Truthfully, they were very good for that long trip... and you know I love them if I was willing to go through that trip for them! Here are some pics from along the way:

The five kids here are the ones that came in the van. From the left: Recondo (also known as Mooney), Natalia, Everett (has his hands up, he's never lost a match!), Amani and Keenan. And Keith on the far right. Some of the craziest boys in the world... also some of my favorite boys in the world! And now you can see Everett's face! Unfortunately for her, Natalia is somewhere under this pile of boys...

Whenever someone was driving, we always had a "co-pilot," someone to stay awake with us. Some people are very good co-pilots, example: Keenan told us that Ryan didn't "need no energy drink, I am this man's energy drink!" However, Amani.... well Amani failed as co-pilot. The above picture was taken at about 9:00 Sunday morning, about a half hour after Amani was assigned to be my co-pilot. He stayed awake long enough to fix the radio for me and then was out cold for 4 hours! He also did this for Ryan on the way down. We still love him, we'll just never let him be co-pilot again. I think he was just worn out from all that time on the phone with his girlfriend.....

Serge (judo coach, good friend of our community) and Elizabeth (his wife), flew down with their fam early. Their older kids (Katelyn, Sandra and little Serge) competed and I helped entertain the babies! This is Gabrielle, I think his "competitor" tag is a little premature....

After rocking Gabrielle to sleep, I then rocked Saline to sleep. There is nothing more precious than having these little guys fall asleep in your arms... and Saline actually wanted me to rock her instead of her mom!!!!
I think this is my favorite picture. It really just captures the insanity that was this drive! Man, I love those kids....
